Mr Zim is the chairman of Afripalm Holdings (Proprietary) Limited, Kumba Iron Ore Limited and Mvelaphanda Resources Limited, and is a director of Anglo American South Africa Limited, Anglo Operations Limited and Sanlam Limited. He is also the current President of the Chamber of Mines of South Africa. Prior to establishing Afripalm, Mr Zim held senior executive positions at Anglo American South Africa Limited and the MTN Group.

Mr Lewis joined Northam in 2001 as mine manager. He was appointed general manager in 2002, and chief executive officer in 2005. Prior to joining Northam, he was the manager of the Tarkwa Mine in Ghana. He has extensive experience in the mining industry in both precious and base metal mines.

She is also on the board of Aspen Pharmaceuticals Limited, Discovery Holdings Limited and GijimaAst Group Limited.
