Northam now owns a 20.3% interest in Trans Hex Group, a well-established JSE listed diamond miner. Trans Hex has mature operations in South Africa including: Baken, Bloeddrif and Reuning on the Lower Orange River. In Angola it has a 33% stake in the management contract at Luana with a lease area of some 740km².
